Ramadan begins today at Sunset. It is a month of Celebration of the Prophethood of Muhammad (saw), revealation of Quran, and the First Revealation. It is the month of Fasting which begins during the Second Year of Hijrah. Fasting cleansed our body, increase our dependence on Allah, it brings us closer to Allah, and it increase our awarenes of hungry, homeless, refugees, and the oppressed. It is time for believers to ponder and become engaged in the welfare of all people. It is time to invite our neighbors, friends, relatives, and those who are hungry.

Ramadan is also the month of Mercy, Forgiveness, Salvation, and liberation. During month of Ramadan Prophet Muhammad. (saw) liberated Makkah and he forgave all people of Makkah who had done harm to Believers.

May Allah give us the opportunity to fast this month, and grant us Mercy, Forgiveness, Salvation. Ameen! Ya Rahmaanir Raheem.
