"Integrity, Inc.'s mission is to be the witness of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community in the Episcopal Church and of the Episcopal Church in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community."  Integrity, Inc., is a national organization which "engages in a ministry of worship, education, advocacy, fellowship and service."

Integrity/Bethlehem is our diocesan chapter, which had its first service in the spring of 1992 at Trinity, Bethlehem, and became a chartered chapter early in 1993. Trinity has served as a welcoming home Integrity since that time, and the banner for the diocesan group is displayed in the Trinity Chapel when it is not out raising consciousness in other places in the diocese. The local chapter provides a voice and pastoral care for those of the Episcopal Church who are minorities in their sexual orientation, as well as for their friends and family members. Membership is scattered across the entire geographic area of the Diocese of Bethlehem.

Bishop Mark celebrated the Eucharist for Integrity/Bethlehem's first anniversary celebration, and this became an annual event. Bishop Paul has continued this yearly tradition. Among Trinity's founding "mothers and fathers" of Integrity are: Dixie White, first convener; associate clergy, the Rev. T. Scott Allen, first chaplain; Fr. Mac (the Rev. A. Malcolm MacMillan), just elected to our Executive Board. Six other current or former parish members have served on the chapter board over the past nine years.

Integrity members and friends gather quarterly at homes of members throughout the Diocese for Eucharist, pot luck and socializing.
